CORD KISTHARDT
About:
Cord Kisthardt, a Sports Car racer from the United States, has been competing since he could walk. His first experience with driving was in KidRacer, an electric powered go-kart, at just one and a half years old. His parents quickly started him racing in Quarter Midgets at age 4, then Micro Sprints at age 7 and finally to Sprint Cars. After taking a four-year break to pursue a competitive shooting career (five-time ATA and NSCA All-American), he decided to race Corvette's in Road Racing. During the past 10 years he has won two national championships, won over 25 races, and competed around the United States. Cord coaches Ferrari Challenge, Lamborghini Super Trofeo Challenge, and occasionally Ferrari GT3. In recent years, Cord has pursued vintage racing with two Corvettes and is currently racing in the HSR Historic Endurance Races (12 Hours of Sebring, 6 Hours at Watkins Glen, 24 Hours of Daytona). He additionally fits in racing a USAC Midget when he doesn't have Sports Car racing commitments. In his very minimal spare time, he enjoys working on the cars with his father, recording his weekly Podcast “Cruisin' with Cord”, and spending time with his family and friends.
